Is there a tool which prevents excluded parties from appearing in the archiving appliance?

An often-over-looked tool within the Intradyn Archiver is Search Exclusion.

Can an administrator remove any information from within the archive?

Intradyn does not openly allow the deletion of any stored materials.

How can the activity on the archiver be monitored?

Any activity on the archiving appliance can be monitored through the Audit Log tool.

Are there any other certificates which will be needed?

There aren’t any necessary certifications.

Is this certificate between the archiver and the Exchange Server?

The SSL certificate applies to the web services on a particular unit.

How does the archiver plug-in get installed on the Outlook client?

This would be pushed out by group policy.
The plug-in can be found on the same downloadable tools menu located in the Maintenance tab.

What does the product look like from an end-user perspective?

The layout of the archiver can be configured to match the preferences of the user.

At the end of the retention policy, what happens to the emails and stored information?

Within the initial configuration of the appliance, the details of the post-retention policy time frame can be established.

Once the initial crawl has been performed, what happens to the archives in Outlook?
