Intradyn Upgrades Appliance Software, Making E-Mail Archiving Easier and More Effective Than Ever Before
Native connectors with GroupWise, Outlook, SMTP enable full range of e-mail protection; data retention management allows companies to auto-define where data is kept, when it can be deleted.
ST. PAUL, MN, June 7, 2007 — IntradynTM, the leader in simple, affordable appliance solutions for automated e-mail archiving and retrieval, today announced the immediate availability of a major update of the software that powers the company’s ComplianceVault™ e-mail archiving appliance.
The software is available at no charge to Intradyn’s existing customers. It includes a number of significant improvements, giving companies more options than ever before to secure and archive the e-mail messages they need to ensure compliance with a wide range of government regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, SEC 17a-3 and 17a-4, the newly-implemented Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and more.

The ComplianceVault software upgrade provides:
- Improvements to the user interface with added graphical reporting features, enabling “at-a-glance” reports on daily/hourly e-mail volume;
- GroupWise and SMTP connectors: ComplianceVault now works with every major e-mail protocol, and allows GroupWise users to migrate legacy e-mails with SMTP, as well as journaling;
- Microsoft Outlook connector: modifies the familiar interface, and allows individual users to archive and rapidly recover lost or corrupted e-mails from the Exchange server;
- Data retention management: companies can now configure the ComplianceVault to automatically delete e-mails to conform with their corporate policies, while enabling them to keep specific correspondence; and
- CV PST™ migration software: turns archived e-mails into PST files that can be quickly restored into Outlook or Exchange for easy searching. It also allows firms to convert old e-mails into PST files, for import into ComplianceVaults.
